Rick Laviolette Joins Anvil International as Vice President for Anvil Engineered Pipe Supports

Rick Laviolette joins Anvil InternationalPortsmouth, NH., (March 11, 2011) — Anvil International, one of the largest and most complete manufacturers of pipe fittings, pipe hangers and piping support systems in the world, announced that Rick Laviolette has joined the company as vice president and general manager of Anvil Engineered Pipe Supports (EPS). Laviolette’s background includes 29 years of diversified management experience in sales, manufacturing and applications engineering. Prior to joining Anvil, he was president of Resolute Composite Technologies, a custom producer of high technology products for the marine, industrial, aerospace, medical, consumer products and defense industries. Previously, Laviolette was also vice president and senior partner at Pixley Richard, a manufacturer of engineered precision technical components, serving the global industrial, automotive, defense, electronic and medical industries. He was credited for leading highly successful initiatives that opened up new markets.

Laviolette has also held a variety of senior management, engineering and sales positions at Eastman Chemical, General Electric and Hasbro.

Laviolette will be responsible for all aspects of the EPS operation, with a particular focus on expanding the division globally. He will be based out of Anvil’s main EPS facility in North Kingstown, RI.
