Anvil is focused on finding the safest, most economical, and versatile solutions that address the unique needs of mining applications, including permanent and temporary piping systems that move air, fluids and slurries.
Anvil’s mining line offers a broad range of products that protect against pipe deflection and movement, including: Gruvlok® couplings and fittings, tools, hangers, Anvil-Strut™, IPC coatings, supports and lubricants. Butterfly, ball and check valves are offered with multiple options for body and seating materials to match the physical and chemical properties of pipe contents. Butterfly valves are available in sizes ranging from 2 to 36 inches; ball valves range from 2 to 6 inches. Custom fabricated fittings are available in 3D, 5D or 6D, in either grooved or plain-end.
IPC Coatings are offered in two stock coatings, Scotchcote 134 and Corvel 1660, which are durable, reliable and field-tested. Scotchcote 134 is a fusion-bonded epoxy coating designed to protect metal surfaces from corrosion. It is resistant to wastewater, corrosive soils, hydrocarbons, harsh chemicals, brine and saltwater.
For customers with more specialized needs, Anvil’s offerings include both basic and extended Design Services. Basic Design Services produce fabrication drawings to help plan piping products engineered to meet the needs of the mine application. Extended Design Services can include product tagging and complete dimensions, along with specific prints for construction purposes.
