The Anvil / ISAT Seismic Process

STEP 1: Education

The ISAT Design Manual is the most comprehensive seismic design guide in the industry. It’s the only manual specifically written to meet the IBC’s new requirements, and includes knowledge and solutions from previous projects. In addition, Anvil / ISAT supplements this great resource with on-site seminars and training. For more information on how to obtain your ISAT Design Manual, please call 866-316-7990.

STEP 2: Document Preparation

For each client project, an ISAT project manager will review your unique requirements and prepare engineer-stamped submittal documents that meet them. Suggestions for streamlined installation and construction flexibility are included in these documents.

STEP 3: Layout

Next, ISAT performs detailed seismic layouts in CAD format. We analyze these layouts to determine the minimum amount of bracing and hangers necessary for your installation — significantly lowering material costs without sacrificing design quality.

STEP 4: Product Delivery

Once your seismic layouts are complete, Anvil / ISAT pre-assembles all necessary components, labels them to correspond with the locations on your layout, and delivers them to you in an organized kit. Anvil / ISAT kits include: seismic brackets, concrete anchors, beam clamps, lag bolts, rod stiffeners, Anvil strut and hangers, and precise installation instructions.

STEP 5: Post-Delivery

Even after our products have been delivered, Anvil / ISAT stays involved in your project to the very end. Whether you need help resolving conflicts and congestion, custom-engineering a solution or educating your field staff, Anvil / ISAT is your resource.
